ok, ok... not for a while

A few years ago I did this bet with a coworker where we tried to get each other to eat frech fries. The first person to it lost the bet and owed the other lunch.

We put an artificial limit on the bet, stating that after 6 months we were free to eat them again, in that, the bet was off, we would both go on forever, et cetera. 7 months after the bet originally started, I had my first box of fries again.

Well, today at the mall with Erik while waiting for an oil change, I grabbed a box of chicken mcnuggets and a double cheeseburger... and decided, it's time to play the game again, but I don't have anyone to play against. I'll have to do it just to do it. So, I'm going to try and not eat any junk food until August 1st, 2005. 6 months. Think I can do it? What does junk food mean? It's strict -- any place with a drive through is junk food. I can eat all the doritos, drink all the pepsi I want. I can go to crappy chain resturants. I can go to subway, and I could go to a pizza hut if I ever wanted. (Never do, though.) I guess I am basically saying I will not eat at the big three: McDonalds, Wendy's, or Burger King, until August 1st. And if I make it, then 10 days later I can have something for my birthday.
