(no subject)

perplexed as though i felt the misty realm outside abiding,
knowing fully well the composition that it must be hiding
a penchant for the downward pull the ocean needs to give her
the water fills its need to flow forever down the river
and for the shortest moment does it know its only trick
it creeps beneath the floorboards and it wails against the brick
crashing twixt the dullness of the rocks the water screams of muteness
knowing only one direction as it bows to one acuteness
freezing, melting, locked in time, the water follows both degrees
of periodic motion and from float, to flow, to freeze
